- We are currently seeking motivated individuals with a commitment to excellence for the ongoing National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES), sponsored by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The core of NHANES involves in-person household interviews and medical examinations conducted in a mobile examination center (MEC). Physicians will be part of a large team that travels throughout the U.S. Physicians will perform the physician exam on all participants and serve as both the director of emergency response activities and the safety officer for the exam team. Physicians will remain at a site for approximately 5 weeks. Qualifications include an M.D. degree and an active medical license from any of the 50 U.S. states or the District of Columbia. Must be eligible for certification by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Basic computer proficiency, good communication skills, and the ability to work with persons of all ages are essential. Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English is required.Valid driver's license and FULL-TIME CONTINUOUS TRAVEL IS REQUIRED with two vacation breaks a year. Mandatory training will be held in early 2012. This is a full-time nonexempt position eligible for overtime pay with benefits. Starting pay rate is $67.31/hr.

- We are currently seeking motivated individuals with a commitment to excellence for the ongoing National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES), sponsored by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The core of NHANES involves in-person household interviews and medical examinations conducted in a mobile examination center (MEC). Household Interviewers will be part of a large team that travels throughout the U.S, remaining at a site for about 3 to 5 weeks. Primary duties include determining eligibility of participation of household members, and administering in-home interviews with eligible respondents. The work will be primarily conducted in respondents' homes and will involve weekly visits to a field office. Much of the work will be conducted in the evenings and on weekends. Experience in survey research, outside sales, or community/social work is required. Candidates must have a valid driver's license, and must submit to and pass a Federally mandated background check. FULL-TIME CONTINUOUS TRAVEL IS REQUIRED with a one year minimum commitment (two vacation breaks per year). Mandatory two week training will be held in Rockville, MD. This is a full-time non-exempt position with limited benefits. Pay rates are based on experience.
