The Academy for Integrating Behavioral Health and Primary Care will provide a centralized resource of tools and materials to help integrate health care and promote a collaborative environment. This center will foster dialogue among leaders who treat mental/substance use disorders and provide primary care.

Serious Mental Illness: What Treatments Help Employment Outcomes?

Individuals with serious mental illness have a tough road when it comes to holding down a job. Westat investigated how evidence-based treatments such as medication management, use of nurse-care coordinators, and harnessing the help of employment specialists affected employment outcomes for people with severe mood disorders or schizophrenia.
