International Capabilities

For more than 30 years, Westat has provided technical, regulatory, and operational support to domestic and foreign institutions engaged in biomedical and clinical research. Our international clinical trial collaborations have covered a broad range of health topics:

  • Maternal and child health problems,
  • Major infectious diseases (malaria, HIV, tuberculosis), and
  • Chronic diseases (cancers).

Our offices are located in China, Costa Rica, South Africa, and Thailand. We provide support services to clinical trial programs and multicenter clinical research networks at sites in more than 50 countries in sub-Saharan Africa, Asia, Europe, and Latin America and the Caribbean.
